Eva's Life Story A Story of a Holocost Surviver

On October 26 there was an interesting speech that was spoken by a Holocaust survivor of 1939-1945.

Eva Olsson was a Holocaust survivor and is now speaking to thousands of people teaching them all about the Holocaust and what it did to the people. At the beginning of her speech she told us not to ever us the word hate but rather us the word dislike. She had also told us that there is no difference between a bully and a spectator. If you are a spectator and you are watching a bully bullying someone you are just like another bully. Because instead of stopping the bully you watch and let the bully hurt the person.

From the beginning the near end Eva talked about what it was like living in the Holocaust and how bad it was. She told us that when they were going to be working at the factory which the Nazi lied about. Lots of people were gust standing on the side of the railroad being spectators as they boarded the train. Just like if it were a Santa clause parade. On the ride of the train Eva said that they were so compacted that no one could sit down so they had to stand for two days straight. She said that lots of people died in the train because there was very little oxygen moving through the carts.

In Eva Olsson's speech she said that she had lost her mother and father during the Holocaust and that she never got to say how much she loved them. I think that the Holocaust was very bad and wrong and that it should never be done again. Something that surprises me is how at the time no one new about what the Germans were doing to the Jewish people.

In this blog I talked about the Holocaust survivor that gave a speech on October 26 and how it moved me while she spoke.
